·        Set-up a teaching project for healthcare awareness of caregivers and health workers in a simple cost-effective way of improving children’s health, in Alsabbah Hospital, in Juba in South Sudan. This was funded by UNICEF, the African Union and other donors (2007).

  • Evaluation of the performance of the House-Officers during their training period in the T&O (2010/2011).
  • I volunteered as a physician (trauma registrar) and went to help the opening of a new ward at a children’s hospital, the Al Sabbah Children’s Hospital in the capital Juba, South Sudan, which marked a small step towards tackling the daunting challenges there few days before the birth of the world’s newest nation. This was funded by funding by UNICEF, the African Union and other donors.
  • Serve as resource person and give talks or meetings upon request, which includes evidence of facilitating student/resident-centered learning in Suez Canal University, Egypt.
  • Demonstration of a positive attitude to student/resident growth, and preparedness and skill as preceptor of clinical skills or community medicine.
